The Ingersoll Rand W7172 IQV20 3/4″ cordless impact wrench brings up to 1,500 ft-lbs of torque to heavy-duty fastening without an air hose. It's built for truck, equipment and industrial maintenance work where you need real power and the freedom to move around the job. The friction ring and thru-hole retainer holds sockets securely, and it runs on the same IQV20 battery platform as the rest of Ingersoll Rand's 20V line.

Kit (W7172-K22): includes the W7172 impact wrench plus two IQV20 batteries and a 20V charger, so you're ready to work out of the box.

POWER: Powerful brushless motor and impact mechanism are finely tuned for best in class power-to-weight ratio. 1500 ft-lb nut-busting torque and 1000 ft-lb of MAX torque.

CONTROL: Includes the IQV® Power Control System with 4 modes: Full Power, Half Power, Wrench Tight, and Hand Tight. From axle nuts to oil pans, flange bolts to pre-torque joints there’s no need to switch tools.

ACCESS: 8.5” short tip-to-tail design and 360⁰ shadowless task light with 4 dimmable settings provides increased visibility and access.

Robust and durable all-metal drivetrain and hammer mechanism optimized for maximum power and efficiency.

Variable-speed switch (half and full power only) with electronic brake provides maximum control of the tool and increases safety—release trigger, drive stops spinning.
