Replacement wear plate for Ingersoll Rand 2235 Series 1/2″ air impact wrenches. The wear plate protects the housing from the rotating hammer mechanism. Once it wears through, the mechanism starts eating into the housing itself, which is a much more expensive repair. Replacing the plate during regular service protects the rest of the tool.
